Mission Statement

NamasteGuatemaya provides business training with microcredit. The program has four components: business education, personal mentorship, vocational workshops and microcredit loans. Our program is implemented with several cooperating partners in Guatemala and Chiapas, Mexico.

Short-Term Goals

Our one goal is the 500 person test pilot of our fully integrated program in three regions of Guatemala and to prepare for a full roll out in 2009. Other than that it is business as usual.

Long-Term Goals

Develop our new program such that it has measurable outcomes in the lives of the borrowers, both qualitatively and quantitatively. That's the only reason we are in business, that is, positive outcomes for the borrowers.

We are small, nimble, creative and have a good mix of generations on our staff and board
